Abstract: Objective To study the target of pharmacy undergraduate talents training. Methods Literature review was used to redefine the concept of talents; case study method was also applied by choosing pharmacy students from Shenyang Pharmaceutical University as the research objects; and data analysis was conducted to explore the areas of employment for pharmacy undergraduates. Results and Conclusion It can be found from the research that most of pharmacy undergraduates get jobs in drug research and development (R&D), pharmaceutical production management and drug quality control areas. Therefore, it is suggested that the target of pharmacy undergraduate talents training should focus on motivating students to be competent for drug R&D, pharmaceutical production management and drug quality control areas in the future.
