Discussion on the Continuing Education for Licensed Pharmacists in China

Abstract: Objective To improve the level of continuing education for licensed pharmacists in China. Methods The relevant literature was searched and the licensed pharmacists and relevant experts were interviewed. Then the present situation and problems of continuing education for licensed pharmacists in China were analyzed, and some suggestions for more effective implementation of continuing education for licensed pharmacists were put forward. Results and Conclusion In terms of policy, the corresponding laws and regulations should be issued to ensure the licensed pharmacists to have the opportunity of continuing education. As to practical operation, the form of continuing education should be more diversified, and the content should focus on the professional orientation and job demand.
