    Study on the Connotation and Application of Real World Evidence

    Objective To define the concepts and characteristics of real world data (RWD), real world research, real world evidence (RWE) and other related terms so as to better apply RWE to serve the whole life cycle monitoring of pharmaceutical products. Besides, some reference can be provided for drug supervision and medical services to further standardize the clinical application of drugs. Methods Through literature retrieval at home and abroad, the development process of exploring RWE in Europe and America was briefly introduced, and its development status in China was compared and analyzed as well. The application fields of RWE were explored based on the whole life cycle of drugs. Results and Conclusion RWE can provide proof for drug life cycle regulatory evaluation. Some European countries and the United States gradually apply RWE to regulatory decision-making and related policy research. Due to its bright prospect, China is also strengthening the expansion of RWE application fields and exploring its use in-depth.

    Analysis of Technological Opportunities in Liaoning Biopharmaceutical Industry from the Perspective of Innovation Subject

    Objective To provide suggestions for supporting the key innovation subjects in Liaoning biopharmaceutical industry and selecting high quality cooperation partners from other provinces and cities. Methods Through statistical analysis of the invention patent data of biological pharmaceutical industry in Liaoning Province and other provinces, Excel was used to draw charts and to identify technical opportunities and other provinces. Then the innovation subjects in Liaoning Province and other provinces were studied separately to realize these opportunities. That is, the high quality partners from other provinces were selected for key innovative subjects in Liaoning Province. Results and Conclusion The key innovation subjects in the core technology field of Liaoning biopharmaceutical industry are Shenyang Agricultural University and Dalian University of Technology, which can be supported by emphasis. Their high quality partners in Beijing, Jiangsu Province and Guangdong Province are China Agricultural University, Jiangnan University and South China Agricultural University respectively.

    SWOT Analysis of ARNI Anti-Heart Failure Drugs in Chinese Market

    Objective To study the domestic market environment and its advantages and disadvantages of angiotensin receptor-neprilysin inhibitor (ARNI) anti-heart failure drugs so as to provide reference for the promotion of this sort of drugs in Chinese market. Methods Based on SWOT model, the anti-heart failure drugs were analyzed from four aspects: strength, weakness, opportunity and threat. Results and Conclusion ARNI anti-heart failure drugs have greater opportunities than threats in China, and their advantages outweigh the disadvantages. However, in order to gain more market share, it is still necessary to pay attention to the clinical verification of their long-term safety and effectiveness. In addition, consumers are interested in the price of ARNI anti-heart failure drugs and its popularity.

    Research on Prediction of the Scale of OTC Drug Market in China Based on Quantitative Analysis

    Objective To analyze the scale of domestic OTC drug market and its influencing factors, so as to predict its future market and provide a scientific basis for pharmaceutical enterprises to grasp the opportunities in the market. Methods The scale of OTC drug market from 1999 to 2018 in China and its influencing factors were analyzed by unit root test, Granger causality test and co-integration test. Results and Conclusion From the perspective of the global pharmaceutical market, OTC drug market has broad prospects and great development potential. Since the influence of GDP and the number of elderly populations on the scale of OTC drug market is positive, the predicted growth rate of OTC market in the next three years is 5.82%, 5.86% and 5.90%, respectively.

    Objective To put forward some suggestions on the marketing strategies for chronic myelogenous leukemia in a pharmaceutical enterprise. Methods Based on the development status of the pharmaceutical industry and the SWOT analysis of a company’s product, the marketing strategies were formulated to provide theoretical basis for pharmaceutical enterprise to adapt to the new medical reform. Results and Conclusion Nowadays, due to fierce competition, in order to expand the new market, enterprises should implement the strategies of new products, centralized management and professional training. Meanwhile, the effective marketing strategies should be formulated and strictly carried out according to the conditions of the pharmaceutical company.

    Bibliometric Analysis of Drug Supply Chain in China

    Objective To study the development trend and hotspot of China’s drug supply chain in terms of bibliometrics to provide some reference for transforming and upgrading China’s pharmaceutical circulation industry. Methods Based on the data related to drug supply chain research from 1999 to 2019 collected by CNKI, Wanfang and VIP, software such as bibliographic information co-occurrence mining system (BICOMS) version 2.0, University of California Irvine Network (UCINET) version 6.0, and graphical clustering toolkit were used to measure and conduct visual analysis of the domestic drug supply chain research literature. Results and Conclusion Through literature analysis, it can be seen that the current research on drug supply chain in China mainly focuses on drug procurement and cost control, zero inventory control of hospital pharmacy, optimization and risk management of drug supply chain, and information of supply chain and logistics of pharmaceutical enterprises. Combining with the “Internet +” and other models, drug supply chain enterprise should optimize its management process according to the relevant national policy, promote information construction in all links of the supply chain, improve its transparency and ensure the quality and safety of drugs. The improvement of supply chain efficiency will enhance the transformation and upgrading of China’s pharmaceutical circulation industry.

    Research on Relief Models of Mass Tort of Vaccine

    Objective To solve the problem of the incomplete relief model for vaccine damage events in China, multiple models for large-scale vaccine damage events were established based on the cooperation of product liability, compulsory insurance and rescue funds. Methods Through case analysis and comparative research, the situation of liability sharing and relief of mass tort of vaccines was analyzed. Results and Conclusion At present, China should construct a multi-relief model of vaccine damage from the aspects of tort liability and social relief. In addition, after the construction of the relief system, it is necessary to distinguish between emergency situations and general situations to apply the priority of tort compensation and social relief systems in the specific implementation process.

    Identification and Prediction of Core Technologies in China’s Vaccine Field Based on Patent Dimension

    Objective To study the core technology in the field of vaccines from the perspective of patents, so as to provide reference for China’s vaccine research and development (R&D) enterprises when formulating development strategies. Methods Social network analysis combined with various central indicators was used to identify the core technologies in the vaccine field and the market value of the identified core technologies was evaluated through recency-frequency-monetary (RFM) customer market value assessment model. Finally, the Condorcet voting method was applied for prediction. Results and Conclusion At present, the core technology of the vaccine field is concentrated in A61P31, which has both technical and market value with great potentials. Based on this, this paper proposes that China’s vaccine industry should shift the focus of R&D from the disease treatment to prevention. R&D enterprises should also follow the overall development trend to carry out vaccine R&D activities.

    Discussion on the Continuing Education for Licensed Pharmacists in China

    Objective To improve the level of continuing education for licensed pharmacists in China. Methods The relevant literature was searched and the licensed pharmacists and relevant experts were interviewed. Then the present situation and problems of continuing education for licensed pharmacists in China were analyzed, and some suggestions for more effective implementation of continuing education for licensed pharmacists were put forward. Results and Conclusion In terms of policy, the corresponding laws and regulations should be issued to ensure the licensed pharmacists to have the opportunity of continuing education. As to practical operation, the form of continuing education should be more diversified, and the content should focus on the professional orientation and job demand.
